Legal Issues and Health Risks

When a person, with health issues, travels across the borders for surgical or any sort of diagnostic procedures, he/she must be protected from negligence or malpractice or pseudo publicity of brokers or mediating agencies, but till today there are no international regulations addressing the medical tourism industry, which is growing day by day.

After minor medical tratment / health care check ups, a person usually return home immediately. However, in cares of major aliment / surgery, there exists a requirement of post-operative care. In most cases, the hospitals and doctors who have treated you in such cares, would be the right person to see you through this stage.

The patient usually is in hospital for only a few days, and then goes on the vacation portion of the trip or returns home. If patient immediately returns home, complications, side-effects and post-operative care are then the responsibility of the medical care system in the patients' home country. Though follow-up or after care by the treating institution have been the best bet, still you should consider returning back home for care if needed or if the need arises.

Hospital & consultant concerns

Panacea Meditours doesn’t have any direct control over administration and operation of any institution, neither does it control or operate any services and facilities provided by the treating institute mentioned in packages. However, we will assist you through out your stay in India for all your needs and ensure the best treatment possible- a home away from home.

Panacea Meditours definitely takes care in selecting all the ingredients for your package but has no power what so ever in running the treating institutions. So Panacea Meditours can not be made responsible or liable for any type of deficiency and delay in services / failure / unexpected made in proper services provided by the treatment sector of the hospital or consultants.

It is also accepted by you that any type of damage, injury, accidents, discomfort or death which may arrive due to any act of negligence of mark in services of the management or employees of the hospitals, it will not have any liability or responsibility or concerns with Panacea Meditours

Panacea Meditours however strongly recommends the patient to stay back in India and enjoy its hospitality and rejuvenation therapy during the post operative phase before returning home.
